There are times in life when everything seems to shift beneath our feet.
Jobs that once felt steady begin to fade.
New technology, like AI, starts replacing roles that so many people depended on for years.
In those moments it’s easy to feel discouraged and say,
“No one is willing to give me a chance anymore.
”Years ago I heard a simple but powerful piece of wisdom that still helps me today:
Instead of saying “no one will give me a job,” sit down and make a quiet list of things you can offer.
Write down every skill, every talent, every small thing you know how to do — even the ones that seem too simple.
Most of the ideas on that list will not work out.
But a few of them will.
And some of them you can begin right where you are, with what you already have in your hands today.
You do not have to figure everything out at once.
You do not have to panic or push hard against the current. The Higher Source is already there — patiently waiting, gently guiding.
It knows every gift that lives inside of you, even the ones you have forgotten or never fully recognized.
When you sit down with an open and willing heart and simply ask,
“What can I offer right now?”
The Higher Source will begin to shine a soft, loving light on the next small step.
Some doors will close. That is all right.
Other doors — sometimes smaller at first — will quietly begin to open.
You are not alone in this change.
You are not behind.
You are not lacking.
You are seen.
You are known.
You are loved.
And the Higher Source is walking right beside you, ready to help you discover what wants to come through you in this new season.
So take a quiet moment today.
Breathe slowly.
Pick up a piece of paper or open a note on your phone.
Ask gently from your heart,
“What can I offer?”
Then listen.
The guidance is already here, waiting for you.
